Logotype & Logotype v2.1, 2002/2003

A 65-minute evening length ensemble multi-media work for 8 dancers. Comprised of 7 sections Logotype explores the visual world in which we live. From issues of mental illness and religion to conformity and objectification of women, shows to the extreme raising the question: As we reduce our lives to symbols and sound bites, what happens to our humanity? This socio-political commentary work and also set the standard for two-week performance runs in the Chicago dance community.
